Submit an Article

TBM Gaming Network is now accepting submissions of self-written video game reviews and related opinion articles. Your articles will be published on the TBM Gaming Network website alongside articles written by our current writing staff.

Our writer-friendly policy provides you with a place to publish your work, while maintaining your right to ownership. You may publish your work elsewhere; however, we ask that you allow us to continue to publish it as well.  Your work may be edited for grammar and format but not for content without your consent.

Guidelines for All Submissions:

  • Submissions should be sent as either a Microsoft Word document or as a plain text attachment.  Please do not just copy and paste your review into an e-mail.
  • Please use an e-mail address that accepts replies so that we may contact you concerning your submission.
  • Please include a name we can use for your submission’s byline – preferably your first and last name or first name and last initial, but a pseudonym or unique nickname may also be acceptable.
  • We offer no payment for articles. Submissions are purely voluntary.
  • Submissions should ideally be around 500 – 750 words or more. This is a guideline, however, and each submission will be reviewed and published based on its content not word count.
  • Images should not be embedded into your work.  If you do choose to submit screenshots, please attach them separately.  Also they must be your own, not copyrighted downloads from other websites.
  • All submissions must be your own work. If plagiarism is discovered, the article will be removed and any further work you submit will not be considered for publishing.

Game Review Submission Guidelines:

  • We would like a review submission to cover the main aspects of any game: gameplay, story, visuals, and audio. These may include specific things such as: single-player/multi-player, “replayability,” controls, comparison to prequels, content versus price, and any other topic areas that are applicable.
  • We don’t believe in a rating system. Your review of a game should be enough to give a reader your sense of the game’s worth. We believe in allowing readers to make their own decisions about a game based on your writing, not a point score.
  • Be specific as to which version of the game you are writing about (i.e. which platform/edition?). Please note if you include anything version-specific.

If you would like to contribute after reading the above guidelines, please send your work to:

Thanks! We look forward to hearing from you!
